Fox Thermal Instruments announced today the addition of several great new features for their newest product, the Fox Model FT1 Thermal Mass Flow Meter.

Along with gaining agency approvals, Fox has expanded the available features for the Model FT1to include the following:
• Retractors for five (5) probe sizes (15”, 18”, 24”, 30”, and 36”)
• HART communication option
• FM (U.S.) and FMc (Canada) Class I Division 1 Approvals*
• ATEX (EU) and IECEx (Global) Zone 1 Approvals*
• More gases in the Gas-SelectX® gas selection menu and a three-gas mix!

Due to the sophisticated DDC-Sensor™ design and the Gas-SelectX® gas selection menu’s versatile uses, the FT1 has been awarded two great honors this year: the 2015 Flow Control Innovation Award and Processing’s 2015 Breakthrough Product Award. The Gas-SelectX® gas menu now includes Air, Argon, Butane, Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Natural Gas, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Helium, Hydrogen, Propane, and 3-Gas Mixes. The 3-Gas mix can be any combination of 3 gases available in the gas menu (total must equal 100%).

The FT1 is a high-end flow meter, and it features a robust design. Along with today’s additions, the FT1 sports the following advanced features:
